IF I WERE A FASHION DESIGNER
I'D BE VICTORIA BECKHAM X TARGET

Although I am more Baby Spice at heart, you have outdone yourself, POSH

When I first heard that Victoria Beckham was designing a collection for Target, I honestly didn't think much of it. I certainly wasn't thinking 70s, orange, floral, rompers, OH MY!!! When I first viewed it online, my jaw dropped. I tried placing an order, I really did. But, being hilariously horrible at ordering anything online, the site just wasn't working for me. I've had to place orders online-over-the-phone before. I wish I was kidding.

Anyways! Since Target x Canada combusted back in 2015/2016? I knew the only way for me to get my paws on this here romper was to drive to over the border. One evening over drinks, me and Rosie decided to just take a spontaneous trip and try our luck! The next morning we hopped in the car and drove to Watertown, New York. The moment of truth was when we walked through the clothing section... to the back where the collection was to be on clearance, to see what we could salvage of it. And, of course, with our luck, there were tonnes of pieces left!

Of the entire collection, the only thing I really wanted the most was this romper. So I think you know where this story is going. DREAMS COME TRUE PEOPLE, THEY DO!!!

Rosie scored this incredible gingham top and a few other items. We had such a fun spontaneous road trip and also got our favourite iced coffee from Dunkin' Donuts.

This romper reminds me of what I can only imagine someone would wear to a 60-70s pool party. I can't wait to wear it to one this summer. I think my invite is just lost in the mail. Pssst.. anyone in Ottawa got a pool? I can make cookies or one of those bunt cakes.

Romper: Victoria Beckham x Target, $25. Heels: New Look UK, $22. Bracelets: Joe Fresh, $6. Purse: New Look UK, $23.
