LIVING FOR: SUMMER AIR

I liiiiiive for summer air. While I'm generally a morning person, there's something about summer nights that makes me feel so alive. The air is therapeutic to me and the atmosphere, carefree.

I've been learning to love my body as it is. It's a fine balance of daily affirmations and also denying societal pressures. I've also been mindful lately of other people's negative body image rubbing off on me. I find that when people around me put themselves down or restrict calories, etc., in a negative way, it makes me feel less confident in myself. I've been trying to stay focused on my own message, which is to love myself as I am

On this particular ~summer night~ I wore a completely thrifted outfit. When I first laid eyes on this top, I wasn't too sure but once I tried it on, I wondered where it had been my whole life?!

I met up with my friend Michael and we had espresso with his nonna. Then, we headed to the Italian Festival where we mostly took pictures in front of the Little Italy sign and laughed about Michael saying Little Italy is LIT!!!

We ended up going out to a 90s/2000s theme night at our local spot. We had a really fun spontaneous night of dancing, laughing, and catching up with old friends.

Cheers to more summer air!
