LUNCH MEMORIES AND SHADES OF GREY

You know when you keep saying you're going to do something but you never actually do it? Ya...

My twin and I have a long list of such things like going to the library, going downtown, and visiting a particularly favourite lunch spot. On this particular day, we decided to knock out all three. Back in our college days, which feels like yesterday, we used to frequent a cozy bistro called Memories. The hearty sandwiches, homemade soups, and scrumptious pies had us hooked. All was well in the world until one day we realized it was moving. We sort of lost track of exactly where it was moving to and hence hadn't been back in years. We finally found it and while it looked drastically different than the old place, the food was exactly the same. We had a lovely lunch, complete with raspberry lemon pie and a dash of nostalgia.

We took a blog pics break and then headed to the library. I got a new card and actually found so many interesting books! As someone who gets bored easily, the library makes perfect sense. I don't feel like I actually have to commit to owning the book and I can dabble in just about everything.

How are you staying cozy and entertained this season?
